Internships

SPAN 314: Internship in Spanish (2 credits only)

Applied learning in a supervised, Spanish-speaking work or volunteer environment. Students will be expected to complete a certain number of hours on site (to be determined in consultation with the on-site supervisor and the instructor) and to fulfill all academic requirements for the course, to be determined in consultation with the instructor (readings, journal, paper, etc.)

Particulars: SPAN 300 prerequisite. Written permission of the Director of Undergraduate Studies required prior to preregistration. May not be repeated for credit. Students are responsible for arranging their own internship placement. The following is a list of places where students have interned in the past; the list is NOT complete, and students are encouraged to consult with Volunteer Emory or the Career Center regarding additional possibilities.
